This is a lovely Imperial German WWI "Christmas Cookie Tin", with printed decorations on the outside and a hinged lid on the top. The rear of the lid is marked MUSTER GESCHTZ (Pattern Protected), indicating that the design was registered at the German trademark office. A great example of German WWI manufacture. The tin is decorated on the outside with very nice tan checkerboard pattern, and Christmas holly leave
